Deposit thick (up to 100 micron) metal coatings onto temperature sensitive substrates such as plastic
or carbon composite parts: We offer contract metallizing services to customers requiring thick metal
coatings.
Benefits:
• Our Low Temperature TLM Process can produce thick sputtered coatings for EMI/RFI shielding or other uses on plastic substrates
• Coatings of 100 micron have been demonstrated on 1mm thick plastic substrates
• Our in-house TLM system is operational and available for coating your parts
• We offer limited to full production contract coating services
TLM allows:
• Use of alloys and metals not feasible in traditional deposition processes
• Use of masking for protection of areas where deposition in undesirable
• Simultaneous use of multiple materials within the same machine
