Marca Coating Technologies LLC provides innovative, high quality, yet affordable metallizing, spray finishing, and decorating services. We provide
these coating services for a wide variety of cosmetic and industrial applications in our modern 25,000 square foot facility in Scarborough, ME. Our
decorative and functional finishes comply with a wide range of demanding customer requirements. In addition to our State-of-the-Art equipment and

• One fast cycle OneLine System with integrated metallizing and a UV paint line for 3-Dimensional parts. (Revolution-3D and The OneLine)
• One fast batch, high capacity overhead sputtering line with multiple cathodes. (PVI)

• One high-speed chain-on-edge spray conveyor for UV Cure painted products.

Metallizing with Sputtering
Inert Metal Deposition
Multiple Metals
All of our metallizing lines run with high power sputtering Cathodes that offer
the highest level of adhesion and control over metal deposition.
Our powerful sputtering technology offers a wide range of target materials
besides traditional aluminum. Inert metals such as Chromium, Titanium, and
Stainless Steels offer exciting possibilities for production design & cost reduction.
Our two largest machines have multiple cathodes in their process chambers for
unique applications.
In-Line with UV
Our fast cycle integrated metallizing/UV painting line combines the best
technologies for producing consistent cosmetic quality coatings.
Knock-out Windows
Marca has removable coating and masking technologies which can create cost-
effective high image resolution windows without expensive laser etching.
Our advanced electronics and computer controls combined with sputtering allow
for stable very thin translucent films which offer exciting decorative options.
Partial Metallization
Thick Layer Metallization
We have patented TLM technology. Although this is used primarily for EMI and
RFI shielding applications, we have found unique applications to replace
electroplating processes which can be costly and environmentally “unfriendly” as
compared to our very green sputtering processes.
Paint and Lacquer

Our paint lines have UV curing capability which is the best option to produce
cosmetic quality finishes.
Frost Coating
Marca custom blends a variety of metallic & pearlescent pigments in virtually any
color desired.
High Gloss
High Gloss (Plus)
Substrates
Low cost alternative to texturing polished mold cavities when a matte finish is
desired. Soft-touch and Soft-feel finishes are also available. Low cost alternative

We specialize in applying high gloss protective clear coats or UV coatings in any
color.

We can process small parts about 1.25” or less in diameter at rates up to 50,000
parts per shift.
